I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend.
The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home.
The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep.
We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice.
Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from ...

I found it best to catch a taxi to the hotel and the catch the bus to the airport on your way home once you have your bearings.

The 'hotel' is not so much of a hotel, rather a hostel but please dont forget about this little gem just beause of that.
Even though Praia Do Sol is sold to you as a hotel all paperwork inside and around the rooms show this as a hostel.
Our double room cost £140 for 5 nights. This includes continental breakfast.
The hotel has 54 rooms on 3 floors. Mainly twin rooms but there are also doubles and singles. The room numbers start in the 100's which is bizarre as there are less than 100 rooms! There is a lift in the hotel but is only big enough for 4 people or 1 person and 1 piece of luggage!
There is a small bar and a pool table on the ground floor of the hotel ...
Advantages: Friendly town with lots to do, a lovely holiday. Disadvantages: If you steer clear of the 'English Bars' there are none

I'm afraid I was always a bit of a 'travel snob' regarding the Costa del Sol. I envisaged the types of scene in TV's Benadorm, a type of Blackpool with sun.
As members of a vacation club ( it was then Sunterra now Diamon Resorts) we had the opportunity for a weeks break for relatively few points at the Sahara Sunset in Benalmadea Costa, as we could get Easy Jet airfairs to Malaga for a very low price we decided to try it.
We have been three times more since then - so needless to say I was not disappointed.
Benalmadena is only 15 kilometers from Malaga Airport, car hire is easily obtainable but it is only 25 euros for a taxi from the airport and there are plenty of excursions and good public transport available in the resort. It is set on the Costa del Sol between ...
