...in January we chose the Sol Magalluf Park hotel as it came highly recommended, and we certainly werent disappointed. The location of the hotel is just behind the famous Magulluf Strip of infamous depending on your point of view however in January this is not relevant as most of the clubs and bars were closed. ...as we were half board and we were pointed in the direction of the lifts. The hotel has 422 rooms on 10 floors and 4 lifts which is fine when the hotel was only half full but I think it might be a problem when the hotel is full. ...holiday staying at the hotel sol Magalluf Park. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO THIS AWFUL HOTEL. There were 14 of us ranging from early 20's - mid 50's. We are not a rowdy group and made no secret at the time of booking about being a hen party. We had been travelling since 2.30am and arrived at the hotel midday the following day. However when we entered the room, the maid rudely rushed us out, rang reception who then proceeded to (impolitely) tell us that we were not to enter the room until it was ready. Disadvantages: Need two rooms for a family of four

...is centered right in between sol magaluf and palma so just a few yards and you could be in either one. Just 5 minutes from the beach and all shops. For a family I would recommend going before the end of April unless you like your nightlife. At this time of year the weather was hot but not too hot and nice and peaceful but not deserted.
