Some parts of the hotel are more modern/better than others. We had to move out of room 111 because the main air con unit for part of the hotel is just under the balcony and too noisy for us and runs 24hrs. To the credit of the hotel we were moved with no fuss to a room in the 200's block, street side not pool side, we found that a much better position. Pool is ok but does have wobbley steps into it. Thought the entertainment average for adults, but good for children. Food is excellent. But with the exception of a couple in each area, Bar, Restaurant, Reception, Chaimbermaids etc. We found the staff very miserable. We felt the atmosphere quite hostlie at times, it did spoil the break a bit. The excuse was "they have to work 15hrs some days". So bad management then, not OUR fault.
