Somatheeram Ayurvedic Beach Resort, Trivandrum

Advantages: beautiful golden sandy beaches, tropical –lush, green location, Ayurvedic treatments, whole of Kerala offers a wide experience – quiet backwaters –vivid colours culture,wildlife, fishing etc
Disadvantages: none..

...the most amazing beach I have ever seen in India..it was untouched..there were no humans, just masses of golden sands and a few palm trees..in the distance I could see a fishing boat…if this wasn’t paradise I’d like to know what is! I couldn’t understand why this was not a named beach resort as it was stunning; upon careful examination I found that the gradient was rather too steep and this would not provide a safe beach. We were in Kovalum for New Year –a large beach Party was planned, we didn’t stay as occasionally these parties can get out hand, instead we visited Trivandrum; the capital of Kerala. Many of the hotels in Trivandrum were hosting New Year parties with buffets and entertainment. So, there is plenty in and around Kovalum to keep one occupied. Advantages: Peace and quiet, relaxing paradise
Disadvantages: None at all

...in an upstairs room, which was just as good as the downstairs room, maybe a little more private on the balcony and slightly more shaded. We have never been to the Maldives in our summer months, but the weather was fantastic, We had a hour or so of light rain first thing in the morning on a couple of days, but very hot and sunny all the other days, with a nice breeze. The service was as great as before and maybe even enjoyed it more this time. We won the Bingo- the prize was a candle lit dinner for two on the beach... it was wonderful. We also visited the Ayurvedic centre this time for a massage, it was very relaxing and well worth the price. This is the only island that we have stayed on twice and to be honest I would certainly visit again. Advantages: Many beaches and places to go
Disadvantages: You will not want to leave

...Aruba is incredible. If you go to Aruba you will have to go for a swim at the beautiful beaches.If you like the beach you can go to "Palm Beach", "Druif Beach", "Eagle Beach". Or you can just stop for a swim at any beach that you past by. Some places that you can go to hang out or have a couple of drinks are, "Cuba's Cookin', "black hog saloon", Garufa cigar and cocktail lounge". In Aruba you can go for a ride on "Banana bus" or "Kukoo Kunuku". If you are looking for a cheap place to stay you can stay at some affordable places like, "Talk of the town beach resort", "casa del mar beach resort", or "Amsterdam manor beach resort".
