capital city, Sofia has the usual wide range of eateries covering all price brackets and styles of food. Bulgarian food is very good and quite varied so visitors should aim to go native at least once. My recommendation is "Tsentrale" - a traditional style "inn" serving hearty local dishes; the service is good, the prices reasonable and in summer you can dine outisde in the pleasant beer garden. A rather different but very Bulgarian experience is to eat at the Happy Bar and Grill - a Bulgarian chain which offers an enormous menu of grills, salads, vegetarian dishes and desserts. They have menus in English and fantastic colour photographs of the dishes. There are several Chinese restaurants, two sushi restaurants and there are pizza and pasta places everywhere.
Dedicated bars are less easy to find and there are more of the "cafe-bar" variety ...
After watching Tyrese Gibson in the movie ''Four Brothers'' I was instantly a fan, I had known of his music and acting ability for a few years but seeing the film made me want to take a proper look at his career. I found that he released his first album aged 20 in 1999 and then 2000 Watts was released in 2001 and then I wanna gothere was released in 2002.

His third album I Wanna gothere starts off with How you gonna act like that, a heart wrenching ballad about a girl walking out when you are so in love with them. This song has A great melody
And some great backing vocal harmonies.
Now the album moves on to tracks like you don't give a damn ...

The Nevski Church, which you will by now have seen on postcards, posters and so on, is a huge edifice, a roundabout among golden cobbles, gilt domes competing with that at their feet. Inside it's cleaner, brighter and fresher than some other churches, and clearly rich. You have to consider there's hardly anything in Sofia that is over 120 years old, what with infidel invaders, earthquakes and so on, so this isn't exactly ancient. It is though mightily impressive.
In this quarter of town you'll find the university, national library, and other large, important buildings, in a nice sandstone colour. The streets are wider and less oppressive than some cities, but when the buildings need to be grand, they are.
