I love this restaurant and loved the whole concept behind it. The restaurant itself can feed up to 500 people at a time. The ultimate experience starts on enetering the courtyard. You have to park quite a way a way from the main doors to the restaurant and so as you walk up to the Manor House which houses the restaurant, you are actually walking past your dinner being cooked on a spit roast outside.
The meal consists of 3 courses. the first two come with a selection of pork and lamb for the meat eaters, but I can't state what the veggie option was as at the time I wasn't too bothered. The meal is served with a bottle of wine, which you get to enjoy all to yourself unless you specified that you would like a bottle of orange juice instead. The dessert was a cheesecake/ chocolate pudding. The food is nothing major to write home about and is pretty average in standard but the main attraction is the show that unfolds before your eyes before you have even been served your first course.
The show changes quite regularly but consists of a rough misture of the same variety of acts. During the time I dinned there, I watched as a ballet was performed, then we were presented with two Russian singers/ muscians who performed some traditional classics. An illusionist set the crowd a roar when he, assisted by his wife made helicopters and tigers appear and dissappear at whim. The Spanish ballet were a treat to watch perform their take on Riverdance, which was swiftley followed by the flying acrobats. they were a marvel to watch because in the dimmed restaurant they were dressed in black and so all you could see was the glow-in-the-dark paint they had rndomly coated themselves in. the highlight for me though was the Drifters, excluding 1 person, they were made up of the original lineup and belted out classics from across their career in both English and Spanish. the show finally ends with a carnival parade of models dressed as wild animals. they are a pleasure to see because they are in bright, big, funky costumes that bring a sense of Mardi Gras to Spain.

Watching the water dance for 15 minutes might seem a little bizzare and out of this world, but it's something you have to see for yourself.
he whole dinning out experience costs approximately 30 Euros per person and includes your 3 courses, a bottle of wine and a glass of champagne with your dessert.
It's not the ideal place to visit if your wheel-chair bound as the tables are laid out in such a way that they are balancing down the stairs that lead to the stage. n the ocassion that I was there, I actually witnessed a diner pushed back on his chair a bit too far and he took down the whole of his and the next table. Unfortunately for him, he was seated quite high up and so it was a long drop on the way down. It's also not advisable to drink too much cause getting to and from the toilets is a non-event.
It is definately good value for money and even though the menu is limited, you get a great show thrown in for good measure which ensures you are entertained until the moment you drive out the courtyard you entered 3.5 hours previously. This is a must see and must dine at attraction for anyone stayi9ng in Majorca.

Advantages: Too many points to mention. Disadvantages: Lager Louts and Ill disciplined Tourists.
careful. There are many small towns and large villages around to choose from.
Don`t want to shop?
The island has a great coastline and this can be explored best by car but it also has a mountain chain running along its western side that gives spectacular panoramic views, especially seawards. In the east, there are also some huge caves called the Drach or Dragon caves. A bit bigger than the Blue John Cavern in Derbyshire! These caves go on for about 1.5km and one of them has a big 500m lake in it`s interior.
Other attractions not to be missed include Marineland, on the coast between Palma and Palma Nova. The sealion and dolphin shows are not to be missed. Take plenty of film.
One attraction that is always being touted is "SonAmar". This is a spectacular country restaurant/theatre set in a converted country house on the road north ...
the island. It is a rip-roaring evening of pirates, acrobatics, jokes, food, sangria (as much as you can drink,) and a real good laugh. Look up the pirates adventure website for more info. They raise money for Great Ormond Street, which can't be bad, and in my opinion is the best value show on the island. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
The SonAmar show is also highly rated, but we just didn't have time to fit it in.
There are 3 water parks of note... the Hydro Park in Alcudia is small but not. The Western Water Park is excellent value, and has a 30m virtually free-fall slide, and an excellent high-dive show. And, AquaLand is the biggest, and has the most slides and attractions, but can get really busy.
If you can, hire a car and explore Majorca. There are loads of smaller resorts and excellent places to visit, too numerous for me to mention here, but ...

are cheering for your knight. Food is very much the same and knives and forks are not allowed as you have to eat medieval style. Great displays of horsemanship are to be seen as well as great juggling. Again, this is a great family evening.
SONAMAR is classed as the ‘World Renowned Extravaganza’ but to be honest the other two were a lot better. The meal is disappointing as you are rushed through so quick that you barely have time to eat (in fact my 5 year old daughter had her plate taken before she had even started). Waiter and waitresses are constantly in your view, even when the show begins, and we had the added disadvantage of being seated next to the kitchens (that had no door) and all we could hear during the performance was the constant clattering of pots and pans. Saying that the show was good with Spanish ...
