The three star CostaBravahotel in Tossa deMar is situated approximately 200 metres from the beach and 150 metres from the resort centre. Barcelona is only 48 miles away and easily accessible from the nearby train service, which runs approx every 20 minutes.
Tossa itself is full of many small shop, bars, café's and restaurants, there is also a land train service, which runs about every 20 minutes, for a couple of Euros' it will take you all around resort, or jump of at its many stops, there is a large weekly market, for all your bargains and holiday trinkets.

I think that MalgratDeMar is an awesome place, I really missed out last year not going. Me and my family used to go for a month or so in the six weeks holiday and we'd meet up with my aunty who lives in Barcelona and her friends and some of the family would come over too, got a little hectic though as there were 14 people top in one flat, only 3 bedrooms lol.
Malgrat is perfectly situated, and its not a far to get to eh train station. From the train station you can travel to the many more places along the coast due to it being a coastal railway. These places include places like Llorett demar, Blanes, Canet demar, Pineda, Calella, San Pol demar, Arenys demar and Tossa demar.
The beach is good to, its well kept and the sea is almost always nice apart from when the waves come but if you enjoy riding the waves in a blow up ...
hotel was clean and staff and all were very friendly
food was ok but not much variaty.
found it very noisey with younger people shouting late at night ,had to have a word with youngsters to ask them to be quiet at 3.00 in morming.
the bedroom doors all had marks where they had been tried to force open
and the couple next door left the bolcony door open and some one had got in through and jammed the door shut .robbed them and left back through bolcony,we were woken at 12.30 by staff to let him in our room to gain entry to their room

we ended up leaving tv , lights.all on .
