Luxurious, tranquil retreat in the Eastern Cape

The Palms Retreat and Restaurant, Wilderness

Advantages: Great food, beautiful decor, friendly staff

My husband and I spent two nights in The Palms in Wilderness in February and we can say without hesitation that this truly is a gem in the Garden Route. Relaxation in Beautiful surroundings

We stayed here in September 2006 for a weekend on our way to the Kwa Zulu Natal South Coast, and loved every minute. Firstly it is a bit of a drive through villages, dodging cows and chickens, but once you are there it is pure paradise. Advantages: Plenty of Rands to the Pound
