Just before the school holidays I decided to take the kids to Scarborough as a treat for the day. Walking all the way up the promenade you can see the beach, but we did not go onto it until later on as the kids seemed more interested in spending money in the arcades first. When we decided to go onto the beach we entered it from the top end of the promenade just near all the rides where we had just been on.
