popular South Bank area less than 200 metres from the Thames. The hotel is within minutes of the Tate Modern, London Eye, Tower Bridge and the financial City of London. All rooms are en-suite and are equipped with Sky television, Wi-Fi internet access, air-conditioning, refreshment facilities, laptop sized safes, electric blackout blinds to ensure a good night?s sleep and telephones with modem connections. Our restaurant serves breakfast as well as providing an excellent menu every evening for dinner. Guests are also most welcome to our executive lounge bar where you can check e-mails on the internet, watch the latest sporting channels on the 52" plasma television or make use of our fax and photocopier. Three newly opened air conditioned conference rooms are available with daylight and can accommodate 60 persons. There are built-in break out rooms and reception with bar area. Lunch or dinner can be taken in our Executive Lounge on 6th floor.

It used to describe itself as London's first budget boutique hotel, but although more attention might have been paid to the decor in the bedrooms and the common areas than in other hotels of a comparable standard, I think 'boutique' is going a bit far.
The hotel is conveniently placed for business people working in Southwark/London ... ...the original Clink prison to Southwark Cathedrl and Borough Market - where Bridget Jones and Harry Potter movies have been filmed. Probably good idea to ask for directions.
For accessing the rest of London, the Borough High Street entrance of London Bridge underground station is about 5 minutes walk away, and Mansion House isn't much further awya over the river. The RV1 tourist bus that connects the Tower and Covent Garden via all the South Bank ...
