Great holidays in Torrevieja
Advantages: Nice beaches Disadvantages: Crowded in August
Hi everyone!!!
I only want to share my experience with all of you because it was great!!! I found a nice apartment in Torrevieja through Niumba, a holiday rental website, where you can find the perfect accommodation for anywhere you want to go at a good price in Spain and also in the rest of Europe ( Italy, Germany, France or Portugal). Once you have rented where to stay, it's easy to keep on planning your holidays. It's just what I did. Once I ... ...I booked a flight and started to look for interesting places to go and things to do there. Torrevieja has everything you need to spend a wonderful time, to relax and to enjoy Spain. I recommend Torrevieja and Niumba for your next holidays!!!
I hope it can be useful for you.

Benidorm it's not!!
Advantages: The beauty, history and culture of Spain that is so often missed Disadvantages: Gets very busy in season
...the province of Malaga.
Ronda is situated 60km up a winding mountain road in the mountain range Serranía de Ronda. It stands at an altitude of 739 m and has approximately 35,000 inhabitants. The average year round temperature is 15C and it has around 2700 hours of sunshine per year.
Ronda is a town that is not that well known on the typical Spanish tourist list of places to go, but – believe me – it should be, it is a wonderful place.
We were ... ...then it was February!!
Ronda has two parts the old Moorish area, La Ciudad, and the "new" (circa 1485!) town, El Mercadillo, dividing these quarters is the El Tajo, the 100 plus meters deep canyon through which the River Guadalevín flows. The views down into the gorge are awe-inspiring Spanning the gorge is the triple-arched 200-year-old stone bridge that links the old and new districts
It's this gorge and bridge, along with Ronda's acclaim as ...

Going Ape
Advantages: Unique scenery and culture Disadvantages: Incontinent monkeys and uncontinental cuisine
...unusual peninsular with it's mountainous rock jutting out into the Mediterranean towards Africa is quite stunning but also has an interesting and quite violent history, and a rather obscure mixture of British, Spanish and Moroccan culture and cuisine and of course those monkeys.
Gibraltar is a highly controversial place and has been a British territory since 1704 much to Spain annoyance, as it has a rather strategic location at the only entrance ... ...doing another lap of the rock and finally landing rather heavily on the tarmac. My girlfriend didn't have any such excitement, but the view on approach is quite memorable.
Getting Around
Gibraltar is small enough for a keen walker to never need a taxi, but there were plenty available at the airport, and on arrival I took one to the hotel to help me get my bearings .There are other taxi ranks around the town too. There are also minibuses that can ...

...ORIENTATION
The city of Cadiz (it is also the chief town of Cadiz province) occupies the bulbous tip of a narrow peninsular on Spain's Atlantic Costa de la Luz ("Coast of Light"). What you find in Cadiz, and what is lacking, is tied up in the size of the land at the end of the peninsular. There is no room to add new housing or shopping centres or theme parks and for me, this is a great reason to visit Cadiz. - what you see is what you get and will ... ...impressive portal to the city. Cadiz is ninety minutes from Sevilla by train and only thirty from Jerez; budget airline Ryanair serves both Sevilla and Jerez, making Cadiz very accessible. Gibraltar and Malaga on the Mediterranean coast are a couple of hours away by road.
The great thing about Cadiz is that if you get lost you can easily sort it out because the sea is only ever a short walk away; at some point it blocks your path and you can re-orientate ...

A little bit of paradise within touching distance
Advantages: Everything Disadvantages: Nothing
Gibraltar is in Spain but belongs to the UK and there have been many issues with all this in the past. I have made a few trips over to this great and fantastic country and have always found other things to try out and places to explore. The first thing I have to point out is the amazing view from the air when you are coming into land. The second thing is that you land on a high street - this is not a joke - they shut off the high street and you land. ... ...before you leap. Gibraltar is not a very hard place to navigate really and you have a choice of getting buses or a taxi once you leave the airport or even hire a car if you are going to leave Gibraltar and explore parts of Spain. All modes of transport are reasonably priced. Gibraltar can be a shock to some to start off with because nearly all people on the island speak fantastic English; I have only found the elders to not be too great on their ...
