Lovely hotel near the beach and all restaurants and bars

Advantages: Location, price, friendly staff
Disadvantages: Close proximity to the mountains meant a lot of cloud

This hotel is well worth the price you pay. We managed to get an extremely good deal and wouldn't have even minded paying the original brochure price. We arrived at the Hotel and even though it was february, there were a number of guests staying at the property. The rooms were clean and there was a maid service daily. The pool was also large and cleaned on a daily basis. The hotel attracted mainly older guests and walkers and this meant that there ...
...lovely! The hotel food is of good quality and there is an elevated terrace overlooking the pool which you can enjoy your food/drinks at. All of the staff are very helpful and accommodating and even though English is the 3 most popular language on the island, they were always very polite and literate. A MODERN AND EXCELLENT HOTEL NEXT TO A ROMAN CITY

Advantages: Excellently equipped and good service, close to the city.
Disadvantages: Lack of restaurant

A Palatial Hotel fit for a Queen

...very easy to find. The Alcazar de la Reina Hotel is situated in the heart of the old town. It's not hard to find as it's more than adequately signposted, but it's still a bit of an ordeal driving to it. The old town was not designed with the automobile in mind (in fact I doubt whether the wheel was even invented when much of this place was built!) and you must negotiate a torturous and convoluted route through the incredibly narrow streets and lanes ...
