Great for having your possessions stolen!

Advantages: Cheap, lovely bar area, and fair amount of choice with food in dining room
Disadvantages: Literally no security, noisey area, and no professionalism used over complaints

Spent a week here back in July 2007 and completely regret it. Something about the hotel felt sneaky as soon as we arrived, the atmosphere just didn't seem right. Fairly decent pool area with lots of space and sun beds to use. Bar is very close by, so only short walking distance to obtain a drink after a few hours in the sun. Small swimming pool, but only used it for cooling off. View wasn't all that great, but didn't expect much in that area. Building ...

Poor security in the building, wooden bar used to lock balcony doors, hotel key can be claimed by anyone, door needs to have key kept in on other side to stop anyone from coming in, no signs can be used to tell cleaners/staff to come in or out, someone can easily leap from one balcony to another, prices to rent safes are a shocking 60 Euros for an entire stay. Advantages: Very nice hotel sitting right on the beach

A Hotel that gets three crowns from me

Advantages: A quaint hotel oozing with Castilian charm
Disadvantages: Bar a little noisy with TV blaring away

Hotel Meson Tres Coronas de Silos is a village hotel situated in Santo Domingo de Silos in northern central Spain; a hotel we use regularly when driving through to Portugal.
