"El Palasiet" by someone who has been there.

Advantages: Position and service
Disadvantages: Some of the decor

I lived in Spain for nearly 18 years and used this hotel when I had a Corporate Hospitality company and also helped them with their marketing so feel I am in a good postion to give an informed opinion of this hotel. The hotel is about 40 minutes north of Valencia in the little coastal village of Benicassim. ...but they are changing this by introducing more pampering products and there are good value 3, 5 or 7 day deals, all inclusive. A MODERN AND EXCELLENT HOTEL NEXT TO A ROMAN CITY

Advantages: Excellently equipped and good service, close to the city.
Disadvantages: Lack of restaurant

Advantages: Excellent value for money and extremely clean and tidy
Disadvantages: Slightly to far to be able to walk to city centre

A Palatial Hotel fit for a Queen

Advantages: A wonderfully characteristic hotel
Disadvantages: None

...very easy to find. The Alcazar de la Reina Hotel is situated in the heart of the old town. It's not hard to find as it's more than adequately signposted, but it's still a bit of an ordeal driving to it. The old town was not designed with the automobile in mind (in fact I doubt whether the wheel was even invented when much of this place was built!) and you must negotiate a torturous and convoluted route through the incredibly narrow streets and lanes ...
