Estival Park- Exceptional Hotel Advantages: Location, Variety of food, activities, facilities, Clean, Good standard with friendly staff Disadvantages: None ~~Platja de la Pineda~~ Platja de la Pineda is a very small town located on the outskirts of Salou. It has a small amount of shops and stalls dotted around with a vast amount of golden sandy beach and a water park. It's location is great being in a family friendly area that is close to Tarragona and Salou that are bigger resorts. Big family fun at Fortaventura can be had at about a 15-20 minute bus ride away and Barcelona is about 45 minutes to ... ...into is Reus which is about a 20 minute coach journey away and while the airport is small it's quick to get through and very helpful e.g. they sort out car hire, transfers and even accommodation if required. ~~Estival Park~~ The hotel is large ranging over 3 smaller hotels each having their own outdoor pools. They offer a broad range of offers from bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all inclusive. Novotel Cornella BARCELONA. Advantages: Great facilities, beautiful city. Disadvantages: Transport travel, snot up the wall. ...offering many of the signature novotel features such as being able to hear the TV through bathroom speakers, movable desks, and luggage racks that turn into breakfast trays. There were very few problems with the room and the only complaint i have to make is a broken skirting board, and an unpleasant lump of nose dirt on the wall from a horrible guest and obviously missed by the maid. The room is well equiped with satellite TV, ensuite bashrooms ... ...turns into another bed for extra guests. Air conditioned rooms, good views, lifts, 24h reception, bar restaurant and outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace with deck chairs. It is quite an easy hotel to get to, the map on the website is hard to follow and you would be best getting a taxi from the airport instead of public transport, otherwise you have to get the airobus into the city and get metro and train back out. A MODERN AND EXCELLENT HOTEL NEXT TO A ROMAN CITY Advantages: Excellently equipped and good service, close to the city. Disadvantages: Lack of restaurant ...worth a visit. APARTHOTEL CIUDAD DE LUGO The hotel itself, I believe, is a modern hotel, established in 2004, and is situated approximately 50 yards outside the Roman wall. It is also situated approximately 5 minutes away from the nearby hospital and the university. The hotel has 39 outward facing rooms with combined sitting rooms, and kitchenette areas. The rooms, as do most hotel rooms these days, also have a television, telephone, internet ... ...The hotel has a cafeteria / snack bar, but no restaurant, although there are two restaurants nearby whereby the hotel has a special arrangement. ROOMS The hotel itself has various sized rooms to accommodate different sized parties. The room that we had was not the largest, but did have a kitchenette and sitting room and a bathroom. 2 STAR HOTEL THAT SHOULD BE FAR MORE Advantages: Excellent value for money and extremely clean and tidy Disadvantages: Slightly to far to be able to walk to city centre ...ones that had vacancies, the hotel rooms were very expensive. Luckily, one of the hotels recommended the Hotel Santa Lucia on the outskirts of the city. At first, we thought it would not be good as we didn’t really want to stay on the outskirts as we would have preferred one in the centre so that we could visit all the attractions on foot without having to rely on the car, but as we could not find anything central, we decided to go to the Hotel Santa ... ...hotel itself is found on the Santiago – Orense road, very close to another major road – the A9 La Coruna – Vigo.
