Tabourente playa la palma. lovely hotel..... thats about it!

Advantages: incredibly clean, lots of room for guests, good VFM
Disadvantages: not alot to do

...from a week in the H10 Tabourente playa and thought that the hotel itself was brilliant, one of the best hotels ive stayed in. the only thing that let the holiday down is the lack of activities. We booked the holiday through Thompson back in April and got a very good deal for a 4* hotel. when we arrived we had a 5minute transfer to the hotel (you can see the airport from most of the hotel rooms), reception were a bit slow in booking everyone in but ...
...neighbouring hotel also in the H10 group, a small gift shop, a Spar supermarket and a scuba diving store. If you walked out of the hotel, to the left and carried on past the pharmacy, you will come to a bar called Tasca Alavasca which provided good evening drinks and a nice meal, wasnt too expensive either. If you go out the hotel, take a right, then first right you will come to a beach bar called Lambada, again really nice bar, reasonably priced ...

Lovely hotel near the beach and all restaurants and bars

Advantages: Location, price, friendly staff
Disadvantages: Close proximity to the mountains meant a lot of cloud

This hotel is well worth the price you pay. We managed to get an extremely good deal and wouldn't have even minded paying the original brochure price. We arrived at the Hotel and even though it was february, there were a number of guests staying at the property. The rooms were clean and there was a maid service daily. The pool was also large and cleaned on a daily basis. The hotel attracted mainly older guests and walkers and this meant that there ...

A Palatial Hotel fit for a Queen

Advantages: A wonderfully characteristic hotel
Disadvantages: None

...very easy to find. The Alcazar de la Reina Hotel is situated in the heart of the old town. It's not hard to find as it's more than adequately signposted, but it's still a bit of an ordeal driving to it. The old town was not designed with the automobile in mind (in fact I doubt whether the wheel was even invented when much of this place was built!) and you must negotiate a torturous and convoluted route through the incredibly narrow streets and lanes ...

Review of Alcazar de la Reina Hotel, Carmona

clean and friendly

Advantages: clean, friendly,beautiful views, plenty to do,good value for money,great food
Disadvantages: being away from main resort but only about 1 mile

we had a very pleasant holiday two weeks halfboard, staff were friendly and helpful, food and drink very good ,sometimes had to wait to be served at bar after dinner though. Entertainment was good ,especially kids disco about 8.00pm every night. The animacion team were very good with varied activities throughout the day- prizes given out at night. Estival Park- Exceptional Hotel

Advantages: Location, Variety of food, activities, facilities, Clean, Good standard with friendly staff

It has a small amount of shops and stalls dotted around with a vast amount of golden sandy beach and a water park.
