DON'T go for bread or toast as the bread has mould growing on it. It is a very noisy hotel and after midnight to 8.00am it is impossible to get even a cup of tea. BE WARNED.....STAY AWAY ...
Advantages: Friendly staff, and nice beach not far away. Great location for party animals. Disadvantages: Noisy hotel all day and night. Not family friendly. Lack of sleep due to noise.
This hotel should be avoided by anyone wishing to sleep for the duration of their stay!!! In fact, it should just be avoided by everyone!!! The only 'guests' (or inmates) who will enjoy this place are those who are out until 07:30 cruising the many nightclubs, and who are last back in the hotel after the others of their ilk have already passed out from too much drink and narcotics…
We were relocated by Sun4U without notice , and our firm booking ... ...we had paid £1800) was magically changed to Allocation On Arrival at the Casino Royal (by pen on the ResortHoppa transfer sheet on our arrival at the airport) as apparently the Planamar suddenly didn't have room to put us up. We are aged 53 & 50 and were travelling with our 2 grandchildren, aged 8 and 7.
When we arrived in Lloret de Mar at 05:00, we were dumped on a street corner near to the hotel, and had to make our way with 4 cases and 2 children ...

Stayed at the Guitart Central Park for a short 4 day break on 29th Oct. When we arrived we werent given any indication of where anything was (its a huge place). We werent allowed to check in til 2:30pm so arriving at 10:30am in the rain was a real mistake. The indoor pool is NOT open so do not book this hotel if you want this facility. We booked especially for this and were sorely disappointed (especially as it rained every day). We stayed all inclusive, ... ...laughable - honestly 1 guy on a keyboard singing whilst the spanish guests line dance! no facilities included: they want you to pay 15euros per day to use the gym, tennis is extra, snacks are extra etc, ect. We stayed in the economy rooms which were what we expected basic but reasonably clean - absolutely fine although we could hear the neighbour snoring through the wafer thin walls. Lloret itself is lovely, but dont stay here. If you like shopping ...

The hotel itself, I believe, is a modern hotel, established in 2004, and is situated approximately 50 yards outside the Roman wall. It is also situated approximately 5 minutes away from the nearby hospital and the university. The hotel has 39 outward facing rooms with combined sitting rooms, and kitchenette areas. The rooms, as do most hotel rooms these days, also have a television, telephone, internet ... ...The hotel has a cafeteria / snack bar, but no restaurant, although there are two restaurants nearby whereby the hotel has a special arrangement. The hotel itself has various sized rooms to accommodate different sized parties. The room that we had was not the largest, but did have a kitchenette and sitting room and a bathroom.
The kitchenette was very well equipped and spacious, with everything one could need for a sort stay. Items ...
