dont go! Advantages: central location Disadvantages: everything else! Stayed at the Guitart Central Park for a short 4 day break on 29th Oct. When we arrived we werent given any indication of where anything was (its a huge place). We werent allowed to check in til 2:30pm so arriving at 10:30am in the rain was a real mistake. The indoor pool is NOT open so do not book this hotel if you want this facility. We booked especially for this and were sorely disappointed (especially as it rained every day). We stayed all inclusive, ... ...laughable - honestly 1 guy on a keyboard singing whilst the spanish guests line dance! no facilities included: they want you to pay 15euros per day to use the gym, tennis is extra, snacks are extra etc, ect. We stayed in the economy rooms which were what we expected basic but reasonably clean - absolutely fine although we could hear the neighbour snoring through the wafer thin walls. Lloret itself is lovely, but dont stay here. Very Good Value For Money Lloret De Mar Advantages: Big pool,Good Drink,nice hotel,pleasant staff,excellent value for money Disadvantages: Awful Food ...was I had booked the hotel and flights seperate and didn't bother with transfers we just got a taxi from Girona airport to resort, this was easy enough to do but cost 50 euros each way. I found out when we got home I could have booked a transfer both ways for about £25 so could have saved quite a bit of money there. The hotel itself is quite nice it has a big pool, a smoking bar and non-smoking bar, arcade, resturaunt, shop and the rooms were quite ... ...for your food as the hotel food is not good enough. The hotel is well looked after and very clean we saw a young boy throw up in reception as we were waiting to check in and within seconds staff were cleaning it up and the rooms and public areas were very clean also. The room was cleaned daily and bed linen changed which isn't always the case in these cheap hotels. Mrs Foote Advantages: Reasonably close to the beach, clean and tidy Disadvantages: Food was a let down ...ALL INCLUSIVE PROGRAM. Although the hotel also offers B&B H/B and F/B. We had a tea-time flight from Liverpool and landed in good time at Gerona, only thing was there was only 1 person checking the passports and we did not get to our hotel until nearly midnight so we had missed our AI for that night. When we arrived we thought the Hotel Esplai looked nice and clean the reception area was tidy and well presented and you could also see the bar area ... ...town. Evening entertainment at the hotel was very poor and badly set up,there was a disco on one night and they didnt even lower the lights also no-one was dancing. On the plus side they did a quiz on the last night to which we won a wonderful bright yellow t-shirt with the hotel name on and also received a certificate (we enjoyed that as we had never won a quiz before). All inclusuve ,need degrading to 2 stars Advantages: Clean Disadvantages: Bad food,re heated food,small rooms ...the 4th floor. When arrived we had no room to go in to,send us to a sister hotel for the night and late following day we got room in the original hotel(Alexis)Some problem with the bookings,the holiday was partly ruined because of it,no more Top H Hotels for us!!! ... A MODERN AND EXCELLENT HOTEL NEXT TO A ROMAN CITY Advantages: Excellently equipped and good service, close to the city. Disadvantages: Lack of restaurant ...worth a visit. APARTHOTEL CIUDAD DE LUGO The hotel itself, I believe, is a modern hotel, established in 2004, and is situated approximately 50 yards outside the Roman wall. It is also situated approximately 5 minutes away from the nearby hospital and the university. The hotel has 39 outward facing rooms with combined sitting rooms, and kitchenette areas. The rooms, as do most hotel rooms these days, also have a television, telephone, internet ... ...The hotel has a cafeteria / snack bar, but no restaurant, although there are two restaurants nearby whereby the hotel has a special arrangement. ROOMS The hotel itself has various sized rooms to accommodate different sized parties. The room that we had was not the largest, but did have a kitchenette and sitting room and a bathroom.
