There is an excellent Tourist Information Centre in the town where the staff are extremely helpful. From here one can find all the best places to visit around the lake, get timetables for local boats and buses, national railways and hotel information.
Like most of the towns around the lake Torri has a castle. Formerly the seat of government for Benaco (now known as Garda). From the outside it looked inviting but it never seemed to be open to the public when we were around. I believe inside there are museums displaying life as it was in times gone by in this Olive producing region. It is also used for civil functions, we were lucky to observe a wedding.
There are two churches in Torri de Benaco, which one can visit or attend services. They often host exhibitions and concerts free of charge.

Advantages: First class service, spacious rooms, clean and tidy Disadvantages: Perhaps not so family-friendly
...This is the largest hotel in the city of Gothenburg. Don't expect a hotel the size of the Waldorf Astoria in New York or the Bellagio in Las Vegas. It's a little more compact than that, however, it is a wonderful hotel that I would recommend to anyone visiting Gothenburg.
The hotel is in a nice area of the city and there is a theme park practically on your doorstep. The hotel is easily identifiable from most parts of the city with its two towers.
As you enter the hotel it is clear that you have paid for a little bit of class. The lobby is huge and the greeting you receive from your hosts will leave a very good impression. The people at Gothia Towers are well trained to be very helpful and they execute the hotel ethos with aplomb. And I am not just referring to the reception staff. The bar staff, waiters, waitresses, room...

Advantages: smallish, friendly and nice Disadvantages: I have noticed a rise in violent crime
...has Sweden's cheapest (and possibly best) record shop, Bengans. As soon as I remember what the exact address is I will put it here. Slottskogen is a large park which is great for just sitting about and taking it easy. There is a smaller park by the Humanities university buliding just behind the Museum of Art.
When in Gothenburg, one must learn to watch out for the trams as there are 9 different tram lines (last time I went). There are bus and tram passes to buy but you can pay the driver. The practice of letting people in on buses through the back door has now been abandoned and it you do it you'll get told off.
It is probably recommended to go in summer, since Gothenburg is at its best then, but this is also a good thing, as the hotels offer very good discounts in summer and at week-ends all year around. There are several expensive...

This review of the hotel will be a bit limited as I only stayed there for one night in April 2007. I arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning so this is merely my impression of the room and check in/check out.

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.
