Indian food at its best |

We live in Alferton, so a night out has to be special.. we always enjoy our night out at Spices. During the downturn this place in my opinion is value for money, and you will not be dissappointed. Frist the toilets are spotless, with a clean lobby and a welcoming grand reception. The seating is open in a semi circular building with high ceilings and large window so you get natural light entering the dining room. The food is served in the authentic original Indian Tradition. Renu the Exec Chef Has worked at the top level and brings years of experience in Indian food. His Father started in the business back in 1963 in Nottingham. Upon request Renu has cooked us Quail, Mussels, Lobster and even Crab.. He has a loyal following of customers who enjoy this special touch. He recently cooked Haggis for Charity for the Med Chi Society, and they raised quite a substantial amount of funding for the Qmc and city Hospital for Teenagers with Cancer. THe food is great and with its beautiful surroundings its our frist choice for Indian every time. You can put spices to the test and they will even beat the city centre places.. It comes top star with the local authorities and is ranked with Harts and world service for its hygiene levels.. Yvonne and myslef really enjoy our experience at Spices of Wollaton
