A great hotel!

We stayed there for a few days in May & our main complaint is the weather was bad!

It is a really nice retreat-style hotel. We had a river side room and from our large terrace we could walk a few metres to the river - lovely! Each room comes with a table & chairs outside so if you want to just relax you can purchase food & wine from the estate's deli and enjoy it on your terrace.

The only complaint would be the restaurants. The hotel restaurant is great (thankfully) as the other restaurants are only open certain days. The only day that Jonkershuis was open was the day we had a booking for Mojo & you HAVE to try Mojo while there.

The hotel bar has great decor and the bar staff were good. Restaurant staff were not so attentive.

I also recommend the spa - really nice beauticians.

There is also a cheetah sanctuary on site and zebra just down the road.
