As a retired London Police Officer that served at one of London's most famous Police Stations, Cannon Row,the station that included St. James's Park as one of its beats I consider the park to include possibly the best view imagineable in the Capital. The park is surrounded on all sides by some of the most famous thoroughfares in London, Birdcage Walk, Horseguards Approach Road, The Mall and Queens Gardens,the frontage to Buckingham Palace.Wild life is prolific within the park and on a Summers day feeding the ducks is a must.Now to the BEST view in London....find your way to the 'duck bridge' in the centre of the park and face EAST towards Horseguards Parade and The Admiralty building. The view has been somewhat spoilt due to the addition of The Millennium Wheel recently but take a huge breath and savour this magnificent moment.
