<<<<LOCATION>>>> St John's Shopping Centre is located in the heart of Liverpool, in a central location of the main shopping district in the city - familiarly referred to as "town" (even though Liverpool is a city. lol) Its official address is: 125 St George's Way Liverpool L1 1LY St John's really cannot be missed or avoided as once you are in town it can be seen from absolutely everywhere. The outside of the building is painted green (earlier episodes of brookside will show the centre in the opening themetune). <<<ACCESIBILITY>>> It is absolutely the Easiest place to get to as virtually all public transport ends its journey in the city centre. The bus station actually faces the centre as well so you really have no choice but to walk past it when you get off the bus. All of the train lines in the area pass though Central Station which is a 2 minute walk from St Johns. and as you come out of Lime Street Station there is actually an underground walkway which leads you into St John's.
<<<<Opening Times>>>> Monday - Saturday: 9:00-5:30 although some of the smaller shops do not open until 10:00 Sunday: 10:00-5:00 Public Holidays: 10:00-5:00 In the weeks before Christmas the shops are open for late night shopping on a Thursday until 10:00pm

<<<MY ST JOHN'S>>> No trip to town would be complete without going to St John's. in fact, for most of my generation it is the sole purpose for making the trip to the city centre. "The precinct" as it is warmly known, thrives on the young population of the city. It's cheap clothes shops are always stocked full of the latest fashions. In fact i would gladly say that these cheap, no named shops set the fashion among the young people of the city. When a girl says she needs to go to the precinct for something you can almost instinctively head for STORM without asking where she needs to go. There are several Storm stores in the city centre. They pave the way to the newest fashions in the city and provide them at the lowest prices to be found. for me Storm IS, the purpose of St John's. heehee. In recent years some competitor stores have come to be. these include those such as BU, Space and Smartell. It must be said that all of these shops stock near enough the same clothes but this ensures that if one shop doesn't have your size then one of the others will.
<<<DOWNSIDES>>> The toilets are dated. they are clean and relatively well maintained but they could do with refurbishing. The queues for the Food Court can at times be ridiculous and the space for queuing is limited and cramped. Higher wattage bulbs wouldn't go a miss as sometimes the centre looks really dingy. the market SMELLS OF FISH!!!!!!! enough said!!!!!!
Really though, as somebody who has lived in Liverpool all her life and has relied on the precinct for clothes for all important occasions it really is a good shopping centre.

Review of St Johns Precinct Mall (Shopping Centre)
St Johns Precinct is becomming a disgrace to an otherwise rapidly improving city. The "Mall" lacks that freshness that his so aparent in the like of Clayton Square. The shops are in truth quite poor with the bigger named ones moving instead to other areas such as the rapidly developing Queens Square. Being a 15 year old, i want to go to shops that will provide for my needs. People of my age want good clothes and the latest CD's but unfortunatley ...

Advantages: Basicas and Market Disadvantages: Scruffy
ST Johns Shopping Centre located in the centre of Liverpool you cannot miss it. It is the building with the old revolving restaurant on top with many entrances.
St Johns offers an extensive range of shops ranging from the Food Market to fashionable clothes stores.
St Johns market is very good and contains lots of butchers, Fruit and Veg Shops and a Fish Market. All the food is fresh daily and is very reasonably priced. I could not go with out mentioning ... ...Snack.
St johns also has a food court typical of small shopping centres but is not of a high standard and can be untidy I wouldn’t eat her but is all right for a quick coffee.
There are some very good cheap clothes shops here stocking a good range of fashion clothes my personal favourite is called Basics located on the upper floor. The bookshop is a good place to go to get older books but not the latest titles and has a vast range of paperbacks ...

...what can i say about St Johns Precinet....that people dont already know!!! Its Nasty, and very horrible, i'm sorry guys, but its gotta be said. I was born and brought up in Liverpool, but compared to Manchester, Liverpool is rather behind, in the 'shopping complex' category.
St Johns, mall is too dark, and the Market, is very much stinky, the fish mongers fishes are not fresh at all, believe me!! The shops are not of high standard clothes, its all ...

...will make an exception for St John's Precinct. I've often thought about why I don't lik the place,and it's quite hard to put my finger on it. The owners boast that there are over 100 shops on two floors, beneath one of Liverpool's most famous landmarks, St John's Tower... but I'm not convinced. I avoid going in there - but I don't find I need to very often. The shops in there are not the high street names - they are all on Church Street / Lord Street ... ...anything else. Next there is the whole light issue. Don't ask me why, but as far as I'm concerned, a shopping centre should be well lit and airy. Built in the 70s/80s when such things didn't seem to bother people, this place lacks architectural style. Apart from the central food court - which itself is beginning to look a bit outdated, I think the precinct lets the city down. It would appear that the city council agrees. In a recent proposal it has ...

*INTRODUCTION*
For my op I am going to review ST. JOHNS PRECINCT which is in liverpool city centre. You can't miss it as it is a big green thing smack bang in the middle of town.
*HOW USEFUL IS IT?*
St. Johns has a wide range of shops. From clothes and household things to a food court and meat market. Whatever you need, you'll find it in there somewhere. Most Prices in the shops are very reasonablebut the odd shop will charge you through the teeth ... ...(fake)jewellery. However it is home to many descent shopping outlets like Warren James, Dirty, BU, Argos, Adams, Thorntons plus many others. It is exceptionally good for its food court and bakerys which are scattered around the centre. St. Johns has everything from small coffee shops to some of the top names. Even if the toilets are mingin, I personnally enjoy shopping there. also it is siutable for disabled people or people with prams as thier is ...

SHOPPING
~~~~~~~~~~
Liverpool is famed for it's shopping, with a whole host of the top high street stores an more. The main shopping streets are Lord and Church Street, which run into one another, and are located parallel to the StJohnsShoppingCentreprecinct, which is a mall of sorts. A huge shopping complex is currently being built between here and the Albert Dock, which is partially funded by the European Capital of Culture investments. For smaller, trendy, boutique style shops, head for either Cavern Walks, Wood Street, or Bold Street.
