Advantages: Pleassant environment, wonderful coffee accompanied by great beignets.
Disadvantages: Its in far flung New Orleans.

...In case anyone complains that this should be in the cafe category, I had asked for this to be created in a new cafe category for New Orleans. Unfortunately, this has not happened. I don't know what to do ... anyway, onward with the story ... Cafe du Monde ... is a famous landmark in New Orleans. Ask anyone there. It was in the movie Runaway Jury starring both John Cusack and Rachel Weisz. It has served as a turning point of my life and I thought I'll share this little cafe with you. Extremely Short History ----------------------- The original Cafe du Monde was started by Fred Koeniger in 1862. In 1942, it was bought be the Fernandez Family. Til this day, it is still owned by the Fernandez family and Cafe du Monde serves their infamous coffee and beignets in the original coffee stand in the French Market area of New Orleans... .... Geographic map ++++++++++++++ It's a little country with houses on the little rock french. Beaches +++++++ Larvotto : You swimming with natural fishes beacause it's a reserve. Shopping ++++++++ Dior, Yves St laurent,Chanel, Fnac and others celebrity brands. Security ++++++++ The town have a lot of cameras and french policemen. Advantages: plenty of different slopes
Disadvantages: christmas sometimes doesn't have good snow

...Champery is a small bu beautiful and steep village! The nightlife is not all that great but if you are a serious skier then this is the place for you. However if you still do want some apres-ski then you can always ski over to one of the many French destination in the Portes du Soleil such as Avoriaz. Les Portes du Soleil is vast and uncrowded leaving spuberb skiing. Compared to many other resorts there are thousands of slopes and mountains! However the mountains aren't that high so it is questionable to whether Christmas time will be white. Jan-Feb is an excellent time to go. For advanced skiers the place is brilliant with the notoruis 'wall' for all you black run people!... Read review
