Coconut Bay Resort & Spa (And NOW Photos: 19/2/08)
Advantages: Close to the airport for transfers, Great Food. Disadvantages: Lots of seaweed gets washed up on the beach.
...the drive with the coconut palm trees gives you the clues that you've well and truely arrived.
All in:
The hotel is fully-inclusive so all the food (even in the 2 specialist food restaurants) is all in, as are MOST drinks. If you want a bottle of 'champers' with a meal, this is extra. Reception:
The reception staff are helpful and friendly but with any complaints, if you should have any, ask to speak to the manager. The counter is a long one and ... ...Bars: There is a bar near to the reception but, when its busy, there naturally can be slight delays. This is noticeable in the evenings when entertainment is on. Remember to also use the pool bar.
Food:
The hotel has a main eating area, which gets quite busy at breakfast and evening meal time, though it seats a good 100 people. The breakfast has many items such as cooked things (sausages, bacon, eggs), many types of cereals, pancakes, maple surrup, ...

The most amazing holiday and wedding ever!!!
Advantages: The most amazing hidden jem in the world Disadvantages: The roads!!!
...reviews before they book the Jalousie - make your mind up yourself!!!
Everyone has different expectations from a holiday and I had very high expectations as I got married at the Jalousie, so for me everything had to be perfect and do you know.... it was!!
The people were the most friendly I have ever come across and I will always have fond memories of everyone we met there. Yes the hotel is expensive if you do not go All Inc but if you eat in The ... ...and the south where the Jalousie is situated you certainly need to travel to find things to do. Be warned the roads are not for the faint hearted. Nearby are the sulphur springs which are quite cheap just a few dollars where you can spend all day lazing in the springs and de-toxifying your body - the drive through volcano is nearby also and definitely worth a look - be wary of the smell though!!! I went horse riding for 2 hours and we trekked through ...

Good all-inclusive package.
Advantages: Excellent watersports and pools. Plenty of activities but they are not rammed down your throat. Disadvantages: Long drive from the airport along windy and mountainous roads.
...service to the other two Sandals resorts on the island. We did not try them as we felt there was more than enough at our resort to keep us occupied.
Watersports are generally free (exception being scuba diving, and jet ski-ing which is available at a cost but not run by the hotel). There are several snorkelling trips per day, to different areas, and these were most enjoyable.
There is a constant conveyor-belt of weddings going on. These are generally ... ...benefit of both the wedding party and other guests. But if you like a quiet shady pool, be prepared to hear the wedding march played over and over again as you sit by it!
I have had to rate the family-friendliness of the resort but readers will probably be aware that it is a couples-only resort so no children allowed. No screeching and dive bombing at the poolside. Bliss. ...

Sandals Regency, St Lucia
My Wife and I visited Sandals Regency on the island of St Lucia in January of 2009.
We stayed for 10 days in one of the Honeymoon La Toc Premium rooms, based on that stay I will try and give some details on what I thought of the holiday
#Airport and Transfers
We flew into the Hewanorra International Airport, upon departing the plane and making our way across the tarmac we were guided into a passport checking area, it ... ...we exited the building the Sandals Desk and the representative was less than 10 meters straight in front of us. Just a quick note; some locals will offer to carry your bags for you; if you let them then they will expect a payment, how you feel about that is of course up to you.
The Sandals representative gave us chilled bottled water and then checked our names against a list, our bags were tagged and we were guided to wait for the next minibus transfer ...

Club Splash St Lucia
Advantages: Great Family Place to be!! Disadvantages: None
Got married here in Aug 2005. We had the time of our lifes here there was a group of about 9 of us. The people here are so unbelievably friendly they can't do enough for you and as for my wedding day I was treated like royalty!! It is definitly the way to get married, what we spent on our wedding compared to other people that got married at home was incredible. The onsite hairdresser was great and couldn't have done my hair & nails any better! The ... ...and enjoyed everything that I eat. It was nice to have a break from the main resturant and go to the themed they were delicious!
Entertainment could have been better but we enjoyed it and made our own entertainment most of the time. This site is so big we stayed for nearly 2 weeks and still didn't see everything! Can't wait to go back and would recommend to anyone esp. for a wedding! ...
