Leipzig has to call known libraries and archives like the "German library", the "German central library for blind men", the "German book and document museum", the "Bach archives" around only some.
Many famous historical monuments and churches invite to the visit. The language is also the natives' music in the ears for some visitors and who has something to stop to this should remember.

Advantages: Lovely Building, Lots Of History Disadvantages: Often Closed
...The Parish Church of St Peter can be found in the small, picturesque town of Hope in the heart of the Peak District National Park.
Visitors, who drive through Hope on their way to Castleton 3 Kilometres further down the road, often overlook this Village. However, whilst it is true that Castleton may have more to offer for the tourist, Hope is a charming little place and should not be dismissed.
Hopes Church stands on a small grassy mound in the centre of the Village and dominates the area. We know that there was a Saxon Church that stood on this same spot from the 8th century AD and reference to this is made in the Doomsday Book of 1086. The present Church however dates largely from the 14th century, although there are a few of its early Norman features that have been preserved, including the Font.

Advantages: Lots of history, plenty to see and do Disadvantages: Not everyones choice of a day out
...The small Derbyshire village of Eyam is most famous for its association with the bubonic plague in the 17th century. The plague was brought here from London in 1666 via infected cloth and within just a few weeks over half of the population of Eyam had died. Many people are drawn here by this moving story and those that know the story well will know that that the Church of St Lawrence that stands in the centre of this pretty village is paramount in the story.
When the plague struck in 1666 the Church had already been standing for almost five centuries. However in those days it was dedicated to St Helen and was not renamed until around 1900. The Church that we see today almost certainly stands on an ancient Saxon worship site and it thought that the stone foundations of this Church are probably of Saxon origin.
