Candia Park Village,Agios Nikolaos

Advantages: Excellent facilities, good food
Disadvantages: Isolated location

needed it or give directions or advice. They also had stocks of used books a board games which was quite handy for out by the pool. The only gripe we had really was the location.....it's not near anywhere else in walking distance. If you want to go to the small town of Elounda or the larger Agios Nikolaos then you had to get a taxi which would cost you around 5 euros each way. We weren't at all impressed with Agios Nikolaos....it was really busy, full of shops and bars and awful restaurants. Elounda was a little bit nicer and we ended up having to go to the local doctors there as our son got an ear infection. The service was free although we did have to wait over an hour to be seen but excellent otherwise. One other thing that gets our thumbs up was the fantastic Kids Club. It was hotel run and the staff were absolutely brilliant ...

Turtle Bay Resort, Relax and enjoy the gorgeous views.

Advantages: all brilliant
Disadvantages: expensive

From my experience at the Turtle Bay Resort, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone else. My family and I (four of us) stayed in a little cottage at the side of the bay, with two luxurious king sized beds, an outside patio with a table and breath taking views- sunset was the most amazing time of the day. Our whole time there was very pleasant and I throughly enjoyed every second of it. The facilities included a games room and exciting pools, one with a water slide and a large hot tub. The is a poolside bar, which also serves food and then a restaurant and shop within the main hotel. From my point of view it is deffinetly worth the money, and you can be guarenteed a relaxing and refreshing stay at the resort. ...

Capo Bay Hotel, Protaras

Advantages: fantastic 4* hotel
Disadvantages: don't go there in the week that they close!

We have just returned from our honeymoon in Cyprus. We stayed at the Capo Bay Hotel, which stands on the Fig Tree Bay in the resort of Protaras. It is one hours drive from Larnaca Airport. (I will reveiw Protaras as a resort separately. This review is solely on the Capo Bay Hotel). The hotel was fantastic. It is 4star hotel and the service and facilities are great. The Capo Bay hotel has 225 rooms over 4 floors and was built in 1985. It offers a gymnasium with massage and jacuzzi, tennis, scuba diving, pool, 2 swimming pools (1 heated) and 4 different restaurants to eat in, including 1 beside the pool. We paid Ł1500 for two weeks Bed & Breakfast. This was for an inland view room, but because we were on our honeymoon, we were upgraded to a seaview room. We overlooked the swimming pool and had an excellent view ...
