Advantages: nice peaceful area to relax in Disadvantages: when you come out of it its back to the mad world
...St. Stephen's Green - is a large park area located in the centre of Dublin's shopping area.
You can gain access to St. Stephen's Green from the main shopping streets in Dublin city centre - namely GRAFTON STREET, DAWSON STREET and KILDARE STREET.
The park is a well kept green area - with lovely trees and shrubs growing in it - and all are well maintained.
St. Stephen's green is a area where many shoppers stop and take a rest while out shopping - it is such a peaceful area situated in the middle of a very busy city - when you stop and wander around the park you will like me find it hard to believe its in the middle of Dublin....

...This park is located just off the main shopping street in Dublin and opposite the famous St. Stephen’sGreen Shopping centre. The only thing I personally find that spoils this park is the fact you are not really escaping the noise of the city because of the fact there is main road running around it. But I would recommend if you need a break from shopping that you take five and visit here....

I really wanted to jump up and down to make people appreciate the quality of music in the street.
I experienced another Dublin institution – namely snacking in the large, old-fashioned Oriental Café, Bewley’s, pretending to be upper class which I’m clearly not!! At the top end of Grafton Street is the St. Stephen’s Green Powerscourt...
