The US VIRGIN Islands are beautiful. There are three main Islands, St Thomas, St John and St Croix. St Thomas has beautiful beaches and the fun!!
St Croix is more remote. St John much more quite, but St Thomas has it just right!
Think shopping, sunning, snorkeling, and some eating and drinking. This island has it all. You can take a ferry to the British VI or St John from St Thomas. Red Hook area. You can find all kinds of places to stay on St Thomas. Little motels and larger resorts right on the water are easy to find.
Sometimes it can get crowded in town when the cruise ships come in. Check the schedule.
You can use public transportation that is cheap of rent a car and dare yourself to drive on some of the roads in the hills. The views are worth it!
Magan's Bay is a great public beach. Coki's Beach isn't so hot. The restaurants are great all across the island and everybody speaks English which is a plus for me because I speak English too..
