Hastings seems to be the dumping ground for a lot of Stagecoach's old buses that it doesn't want in London anymore. Hoepfully we'll get some decent low-floor buses, but it'll probably be quite a while coming...
At least most of the drivers are friendly though, and most of the do drive properly - a complete contrast to Travel West Midlands. The fares are reasonable and the routes are OK in the town and out in the rural areas they're mostly contracted from the Council so are fairly frequent and the fares are kept at a reasonable level.
Overall, an OK service from them that would be inproved with some new buses (the last ones we had are now about five or six years old and there are a lot of knackered buses around!)

Good review, only 1 main problem with this companies attitude towards gays, they put funds up to try and block section 28 also there poor attitude and pay levels to staff when they were making millions,I only use them when I cannot find an alternative,(sorry this is my personal opinion dont mean to preach)

I suspect five or six years isn't all that old for a bus. I use the busses a lot in Edinburgh and, at a guess, I think we see one or two new ones (if that) each year. Certainly some of the fleet were probably driving around in the 80s and perhaps the 70s.
