As I don't drive I have not got a lot of choice other than the train to use Stagecoach busses to get from A to B.
Their punctuality is absolutely appalling. Many of times I have found myself (sometimes with at least one of my children) standing at the bus stop seemingly waiting for ever. The worst waiting time I have ever had to experience was 45 minutes at a bus stop highly pregnant with no shelter or any kind of seating available which is quite common in our area, I may add. I often wonder what time tables were written for, if you are so lucky to have one on your bus stop post.
Stagecoach make it sometimes almost impossible to travel for disabled people and parents with very young children/babies.

I would just like to write a review on Stagecoach, whose services I actually used today for the first time in about 4 years! I decided to leave Plymouth for the day, and go up to Exeter for a different experience - or so I thought, but that is actually the subject of another review.
In my own opinion, I personally feel that Stagecoach should actually in fact provide a coach for this service - as opposed to the double decker that I had the misfortune of travelling on in both directions (even though I fell asleep on the way back!). When I last did this trip about 5 years ago, it was on an actual coach - and so, this could be what I am actually basing my thoughts on!
But with that said, I cannot actually complain as to how I was treated though during the course of my journey in either direction - apart from the price! But then ...

New fleets for new routes, and the majourity of the older buses repainted if not completely refurbished both inside and out., Lots of new training bus
High fares for all services (although I hope these are only to cover short term losses and will be reconcidered when all services are stable). No chan (*)
