Stamford Grand North Ryde, Sydney

Advantages: Superb service, good facilties, excellent food, reasonable prices
Disadvantages: Not in the city, I was there on business

The Stamford Grand North Ryde came up trumps on both accounts, but in endeavouring to keep my travel budget down and having forked out nearly £700 for a flight, all the agent websites were way too expensive. I very recently stayed at the Stamford Grand North Ryde and would like to take this opportunity to reveal what guests can really expect from their stay. The food shows up late, is cold and is not what you order. You have to request napkins, salt and pepper. You certainly do not get what you pay for. The staff are unhelpful and appear not to care. Our room had a view of the carpark and main road with no privacy at all. Overall, we felt ripped off, ignored and were glad to actually leave. I have emailed my feedback to the hotel numerous times but they refuse to respond so I will write my comments here for all to read and make note.
