Advantages: Competitive priced Coffee Disadvantages: Taste and Priced not as good as Caffee Nero
Starbucks is a well known, almost global coffee brand. This chain of coffee shops are fully company owned. The price of coffee per metric tonne is approximately £883 a tonne. So for coffee shop stores there is a very high profit margin to be made.
I was travelling on my way to Crawley and as i was in London Victoria i noticed a burger type van advertising Starbucks. I thought to myself i have been to Starbucks before lets see how they fare.
Firstly i was not impressed with the service here. There were 2 staff in the van, no customers in the queue, and dispite this it took me 2 minutes to get served.
I noticed the bin they were using was full up with some plastic rubbish. Certainly not inviting for regular customers or great first impressions here.
The display of my coffee money was in a take away Starbucks plastic cup ...

Advantages: Great views, great atmosphere, great coffee Disadvantages: A bit expensive
Everybody knows Starbucks, the largest coffee house in the world. I am going to review the one in St Katharine's Dock in London as this is my nearest and dearest.
I think Starbucks is rather like marmite, you either love it or you hate it. Some people hate the fact that they have to pay £3 for a cup of coffee, other people can't get enough. I think what has captured the world is their relationship with coffee, they like to think of their stores as a "third place", ie the third place you go in this world after home and work and I think it is this attitude that produces the friendly asmosphere and sense of belonging that their houses promote.
The store in St Katharine's dock is a beautiful building, it is a round, almost mill looking type building with a dome on top and has ...
Advantages: Location Disadvantages: 2 star hotel and it deserves them
the corridor cupboard doors have a leatherette cladding, the ones on our corridor were very obviously peeling away from the doors and looked tatty.
Our room door stuck and had to be slammed shut.
The bathroom extractor fan did not work hence the peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling.
Glazing was poor with lots of street noise able to come into the room.
Lumpy pillows.
Good bits.
The breakfast was wholesome and fresh, the pork and leek sausages were lovely.
The resaurant although looked clean felt sterile with no atmosphere.
Maid service was good. Nice clean towels.
Good location right opposite Kensington Palace and just along form Hyde Park.
15 minutes walk from Harrods and Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge.
2 minutes walk from KensingtonHighStreet and Tube Station. ...
