LETS PARTY AT CAFE DE PARIS

Advantages: Read opinion
Disadvantages: Read opinion

the last five or so years then you will not recognize the new London. Central London (Soho, Picadilly, Shaftsbury avenue, Leicester Sq, Tottenham Ct Rd, Oxford Circus etc) is buzzing and the atmosphere is very European ~ the streets are vibrant & exciting ~ packed out pubs, cinemas, nightclubs, restaurants, shows, theatres and wine bars, not just the weekends but also weekdays. London offers diversity & its nightlife is right up there with the other top European cities, attracting more & more people to its trendy & vibrant streets, where you can enjoy and soak up atmosphere until the early hours of the morning. One of the more exclusive venues in central London is Café De Paris ~ this venue has been around since 1924 & is still rocking in 2002. Having survived the War & all the changes that came with it, Café De Paris has an amazing & glitzy ...

Starbucks Review

Advantages: Great coffee, nice surroundings
Disadvantages: Expensive

Starbucks is a global coffee house chain; in fact it's the biggest coffee house company in the world. It was founded in 1971 in Seattle, Washington, and now has over 15,000 stores in 44 countries. It enjoyed a huge expansion in the 1990's which included its first chain outside North America (Tokyo in 1996) and the first UK Starbucks in 1998. As well as coffee, Starbucks sell a wide variety of beverages including Hot Chocolate, Fruit Smoothies and bottled water. They also sell snacks such as muffins, caramel shortbread as well as healthier alternatives such as yogurt and 'skinny' muffins. To me, the prices overall are a little expensive, but I pay them because no-one makes coffee like they do! I know a lot of people don't like it and they think the coffee is too sickly etc, but I do like the sweetness. I don't like black coffee so ...

A great Paris hotel

Advantages: Perfect location, excellent access to Metro and sights.
Disadvantages: Bedroom doors bang loudly when they shut.

The first time I ever visited Paris I stayed at this hotel. I just left it up to my boyfriend and his dad to choose the accommodation as I knew nothing about this city at the time, except that it had the Eiffel Tower! When we looked it up on the internet there were a few flattering photographs, and because it was so close to the Gare du Nord (where we arrive from the Eurostar) it seemed like the perfect little hotel. It's in a great location for a hotel that isn't too pricey, or too cheap. Location It's located in the heart of Paris, it's a lovely traditional looking building and is in the immediate neighbourhood of the amazing St Quention Market. This is a indoor market, it's hard to miss as it's a large metal stucture and is quite impressive and attractive. It's a good place to buy 'real' French food, although there is ...
