Do you really want to come to Madrid for a Starbucks?

Advantages: Good coffee
Disadvantages: Starbucks is the same all over th world, try something local while you can!

This will be a short review because like every other chain restaurant it dosn't matter where you are in the world - your in a Starbucks. I have nothing against them but if you are gong to travel then it's probably best to see the sights, have coffee in a tapas bar at Plaza Major, or in Parque de Retiro over looking the lake?! Madrid has so much to offer, excellent shopping, amazing architecture and so much history. In the three years I have lived here I haven't once been to a Starbucks. Sure the coffee is great, it's relaxing and it's comforting to be somewhere you know but don't spend all that money on flights and hotels just to visit a coffee shop that you can go to everyday at home!! ...

Review of Starbucks Coffee, Serrano 41, Madrid

Starbucks - an absolute must on cold, wintery days.

Advantages: Comfy, excellent service, fantastic choice of drinks and snacks. seasonal drinks are amazing.
Disadvantages: can be crowded and busy if you go at the wrong time, e.g. saturday afternoons!

, you will feel a million times better and have the energy to battle back into those queues with a new determination and a milk froth moustache! But if that happens, God just is not on your side and you probably shouldn't have bothered trying to Christmas shop at all! Last Christmas me and my friend spent about 3 hours in Starbucks, latte after latte, smoothie after smoothie, chatting away and eating almost everything they had. We'd been shopping for about an hour and we were pretty much ready to go home before we'd even bought any presents. Until, we saw that inviting green Starbucks logo, and the smell of fresh coffee lured us in for a cheeky break. And ohhh boy, were we glad we did! By the time we left we were in very high spirits (probably from ...

Review of Starbucks Coffee

Starbucks - Relaxing coffee in a town near you!

Advantages: Lots of coffees to choose from, lovely range to herbal teas.
Disadvantages: Expensive prices, I can't stand getting stuck with a normal chair here!

Starbucks is a global coffee shop franchise that is located in many countries around the world and their stores are commonly located in the UK in shopping centres, high streets & inside some Sainsbury's supermarkets. Starbucks specialise in selling coffee, herbal teas, milkshakes, sandwiches & sweet treats. There are many different varieties of coffee & tea on offer and quite a few choices of coffee are available hot or even iced. There are lots of herbal teas to be sampled and these are usually located near the tea so that you can choose the flavour you want to try. The stores are always fairly snug and feel quite cosy, they have lots of comfortable chairs, settees & big armchairs which are perfect for relaxing in with a 'grande' cappuccino and a good book. I find this part of Starbucks to be very relaxing and I never feel that ...
