...The SAS Radisson hotel in Dusseldorf is one of the city's premier hotels. The hotel is located an Golzheimer Platz half way between the city centre and the Messe, or exhibition hall. The hotel is also conveniently located on the tram line which makes access to the convention centre and the city very easy. It is only a fifteen minute taxi drive from the airport. The hotel boasts two restaurants as well as a swimming pool and well equipped gym, for those who want to make use of the facilities. The prices are relatively high, particularly at fair time, and at this time the rooms are almost impossible to get, so book very early....

Advantages: Best coffee on the globe, great atmosphere Disadvantages: very expensive
....
----Selection----
Starbucks have almost every coffee you can think of, they also have a great selection of teas and iced coffees (frappucinos). I have only tried a few coffees but they have all been world class. If They dont have the perticular coffee you want you can ask them to get it shiped in free of charge, how good is that!
----Prices----
Everyone knows about the great coffee, but the other well know part of Starbucks is the incredibly high prices. They can be up to 6 dollars (around 2 pounds (I think)) This can be considered by many to be outrageous. But those people haven’t tasted the brilliant coffee. It is expensive, but very much worth what you pay for!
Cappucino- £1.75
Mocha- £1.95
Espresso- £3.00
Lemonade- £1.50
Mineral Water- £1.20
Orange Juice- £1.50
(Thanks shadylady999 for the prices)

...Dusseldorf is one of the most attractive and upmarket cities in Germany. Partly this is because of the international makeup of the city. Many firms, in particular Japanese firms have made Dusseldorf their European base, and this toghther with the international Messe(trading fair)provides a very international outlook. Not being able to speak german is not a disadvantage as much as in other german cities, with most people in shops, resturants and civil officals speaking at least passable english. Possibly the two greatest attractions in dusseldorf are the Altstadt(old city) and the Konigssalle, which is one of the premier shopping streets worldwide. The altstadt is a large pedestrian area containing shops, resturants and bars, and is known as the longest bar in the world, with the area covering more than three square kilometers...
