...Despite the prices when ever I go in to town I will almost always go to starbucks but why is this? Its comfortable and refreshing but again the prices are extremely high. . . . . . . . . . Starbucks attract many customers everyday but despite this they have failed to move down there prices. I have sometimes found a queue out side the door. They must be making loads of money. I know this because in America starbucks the serve the same products for the same price but in dollars. The dollar to the pound at the moment is almost 2 dollars to 1 pound. This means that if a American visits Starbucks England they are paying double what they usually. On the other hand I cannot fail starbucks drinks and customer care. ...from them. There prices are also exactly as expensive as in every other Starbucks in the world. Oh, and anything that isn't coffee is even more expensive, £1.50 for a small cookie, that sort of thing. So... If you want somewhere which will be reliably clean, reliably quick and will serve reliably average coffee, go to Starbucks. Otherwise go somewhere else, find a little cafe somewhere, it'll probably be cheaper, and chances are the coffee and atmosphere will be better.... Read review

...I've been addicted to Starbucks for years. I worship Starbucks. Starbucks is the very example of everything I love about city living. I first discovered this international shrine to coffee in Canada (Vancouver, to be precise - the city of 1,000,000 Starbucks stores. (Well, nearly)). The first time I walked into a Starbucks I was bowled over by the extensive range of coffees. While this seems to be most people's complaint about the store ("I just want a *plain* coffee - what's a plain coffee?" "Well madam, that depends on how you like your coffee - would you like a latte or an americano or a cappuccino, or maybe a chocolatey mocha, or possibly just an espresso, and would you like flavoured syrup and/or whipped cream with that?"), I love experimenting with my coffee and this was like a dream come true.
