Good Evening readers I am here to blabble on to you about the most wonderful coffee house in the history of mankind. All my chums had reccommended this wonder to me and I thought "How on earth can someone be so obssesed with a cafe!" However now I am experiencing this feeling for myself.
The first time I entered Starbucks I was immidiately taken back with the glorious, strong aroma of different flavours and of course COFFEE! I had never been much of a fan of coffee myself but this place was definetly an exeption, I knew I was going to be a regular!
I drifted up to the counter and was warmly greeted by one of the most camp male's I have ever come across in my life, he or she was very friendly and efficient. After a long time pondering over whether I should choose something more familiar to me, for instance a cappuchino or latte, I decided I'd have a Caramel Macchiato, Don't worry I still can't pronounce it! It wasn't that simple though I still had to awnser a few questions:
What size madam? small please, I then later found out that there smallest cup was called "tall", mmmmmmmm interesting!
Cream or no cream? Yes, alright at the time I was on a diet, but I have to say I couldn't restist the creamy cream floating on top of my Caramel Mac.
My eyes began to wander around the room, I saw cakes, big, fat, juicy, creamy, tempting, chocolatey cakes, again the temptation was too much for me I had to have the Starbucks spescial espresso frosted brownie! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Once I had sat down I certainly did not want to get up again. I must say, my tummy was bulging! Another positive issue with Starbucks is that it is catered for everyone, it is very children friendly which I like, it certainly makes the atmoshpere bubbly, loud and relaxed!
If you are wondering where your nearest Starbucks is, I promise there are lots dotted about, unfortunately too many are in London and not spread all over the country! I have all but praise and gratitude for this chain, keep up the good work Starbucks!
Like me, if you are a shopaholic you will understand how tireing raking around the shops can sometimes be! If you want a quick rest stop and coffee break, I think by reading this opinion you will know where Alex and Sophie think you should go to!
I honestly have practicaly no complaints with Starbucks, however I often find slightly messy tables and over crowded cafes, I promise though don't let that put you off, this earth version of pure heaven!
The prices are slightly over the top, but I suppose if you are wanting quality you have to pay for it!
Have a nice restful day, loving you and leaving you.
*sorry if there are any spelling mistakes, spelling isn't my strong point*
Advantages: Cheerily trendy, great coffee, pleasant place to relax, "you get what you pay for". Disadvantages: Good value but not cheap.
Starbucks is a great place to relax from the stresses of shopping, work or whatever gives you the best excuse to sit around and drink coffee for an hour. The coffee style itself is more American than Italian - huge mugs of steaming hot, rich and flavoursome coffee. The usual varieties are on offer are brewed to extremely high standards, plus a few unique variants are on offer. The lattes are milky and very thirst quenching, a deep, long coffee to ... ...will do...). The Starbucks mochas are outstanding, rich and smooth with neither a trace of bitterness nor the sweet syrupy flavour that spoils the mochas (or 'moccachinos') at various other coffee houses. The stronger cappuccinos give a better impression of the overall quality of the beans used and the techniques of extraction - and the results have never left me disappointed. Though the sheer scale on which coffee is produced here may leave you ...

...are thinking of going into Starbucks for the first time, it's probably wise to take in someone with you, who has done the 'starbucks thing' before.
Because, quite frankly, otherwise you'll be left gawping at the huge drinks selection and ordering process!

Advantages: Great coffee, nice cakes Disadvantages: Untidy , loos
I recently visited the Starbucks coffee shop in Cambridge. Its not the first time I have visited so my opinion is not based on an unrepresentative single visit.
There is no doubt Starbucks have an excellent range of coffees and they can be accompanied with some good cakes. Mrs par4 and I had a cappucino and latte respectively and they were both good. There is a nice seating area downstairs at the Cambridge shop and this has some nicely arranged ... ...from such an establishment.
Starbucks prides itself on its ethical policies and rightly so. You can even take the coffee remnants home for the garden.
With a bit of attention this could be a good Starbucks. The Starbucks concept is good and overall is good value in good surroundings. Just sort out the little details in Cambridge guys, sorry, partners. ...

Advantages: great coffee Disadvantages: can spend alot of money
I was first introduced to Starbucks coffee through an e-mail promotion and was sent a free bag of it. It was the house blend and in bean form but it smelled so good I went and got a coffee grinder and tried it. The first taste got me.
I love a nice strong cup of coffee and this is the best flavor I have ever tasted.
I started searching the stores for it and was finally able to locate it. I have yet to find it already ground and it is quite pricey ... ...coffee is my morning treat so I don't mind paying the extramoney for it.
I didn't think we had any shops around but upon going into Barnes and Noble to look for a book I found one in there. The aroma caught my attention the minute I walked through the door.
One day I was in a department store and spotted these little bottles that come in a 4 pack of iced coffee made by starbucks. They come in vanilla, mocha and caramel. I tried the caramel and ...

...Park has also observed the Starbucks takeover phenomenon.
Cambridge now has four FOUR Starbucks and has closed one old one. There is one near to the main shopping centre (The Grafton Centre) with an upstairs that is often not crowded. Head to the back of the store. There is another smaller takeaway only branch on Quayside my Magdalene Bridge (spelling ? who cares I'm a townie). Then there are two more by the market. They are next to each other. ... ...but honestly, there are two Starbucks in Cambridge practically next to each other. A really (too) big one in the Borders branch and another on the street. Now, the on-street one is about eighteen months old so, of course, it is being torn out and remodelled. Closed ? No remodelled downstairs.
Now don't get me wrong. I love Starbucks. I hate them too. They steal all my money but they give me somewhere to sit and do stuff in the mornings before work. ...

Advantages: Competitive priced Coffee Disadvantages: Taste and Priced not as good as Caffee Nero
Starbucks is a well known, almost global coffee brand. This chain of coffee shops are fully company owned. The price of coffee per metric tonne is approximately £883 a tonne. So for coffee shop stores there is a very high profit margin to be made.
I was travelling on my way to Crawley and as i was in London Victoria i noticed a burger type van advertising Starbucks. I thought to myself i have been to Starbucks before lets see how they fare.
Firstly i was not impressed with the service here. There were 2 staff in the van, no customers in the queue, and dispite this it took me 2 minutes to get served.
I noticed the bin they were using was full up with some plastic rubbish. Certainly not inviting for regular customers or great first impressions here.
The display of my coffee money was in a take away Starbucks plastic cup ...

I've been addicted to Starbucks for years. I worship Starbucks. Starbucks is the very example of everything I love about city living. I first discovered this international shrine to coffee in Canada (Vancouver, to be precise - the city of 1,000,000 Starbucks stores. (Well, nearly)). The first time I walked into a Starbucks I was bowled over by the extensive range of coffees. While this seems to be most people's complaint about the store ("I just want a *plain* coffee - what's a plain coffee?" "Well madam, that depends on how you like your coffee - would you like a latte or an americano or a cappuccino, or maybe a chocolatey mocha, or possibly just an espresso, and would you like flavoured syrup and/or whipped cream with that?"), I love experimenting with my coffee and this was like a dream come true. Admittedly, it took me half an hour ...

Advantages: Comfy, excellent service, fantastic choice of drinks and snacks. seasonal drinks are amazing. Disadvantages: can be crowded and busy if you go at the wrong time, e.g. saturday afternoons!
Don't you hate it when it gets to winter time and you find that Christmas has crept up on you yet again this year? It seems to start earlier each year! You always seem to find yourself cold, stressed, laden with bags and frequenting large queues outside department stores and you just feel like screaming "Bahhh Humbug!' to anyone who's near you.
Well I have eventually found the ideal cure to what I call 'The Christmas Crisis'. When you just want to give up and go home and think 'oh forget that last present, i'll get him some socks instead'. Instead of abandoning ship and sludging home in your winter boots deflated and stressed, I urge you to find a Starbucks! There is truly nothing more satisfying than collapsing into one of their cosy leather couches with a caramel latter and a 'too-good-to-be-allowed' piece of cake. I guarantee you ...
