Review of Rex Hotel, Stockholm by
nispero
Advantages: Design hotel, good breakfast, nice area
Disadvantages: Not in the very center of the city

The hotel is situated in a quiet street 10-15 minutes walking from the center. In this area there are a lot of supermarkets (including one Lidl), restaurants (Italians, Chineses) and a lot of take aways. There is also a 7eleven that closes around 11.00 pm.

Downstairs, there were two common rooms, one with a huge TV, a million channels, plenty of dining tables and the comfiest sofas, and the second with free hot drinks, more tables and about 8 computers ... ...was a small shared kitchen, a laundry room with room for stored baggage (accessible to any guest, but lockers could also be hired) as well as the usual books, tourist info, maps etc. In the kitchen there was a huge tub of free pasta - a brilliant idea and not one I have seen elsewhere! The décor was all very attractive and it was thoroughly cleaned. The staff on reception were very friendly and storing luggage before or after check in/out was no ...
