Stockholm - what a beautiful city ! I have visited Stockholm twice for short breaks & I've fallen in love with it ! The city is actually many islands, so everywhere there is water. The summer days are long and warm - Stockholm is the Summer Night City of ABBA's song. The air is clean & fresh, the city is safe & friendly - it is literally a "breath of fresh air". There are lots of museums, plenty of good shops and great boat trips around the islands. Sweden is expensive - particularly alcohol, so be prepared, but on balance, it is worth every penny, or Krona !

Advantages: great views, excellent breakfast, clean friendly top class hotel, great location Disadvantages: Can be a little busy, if that's really that bad!
