The hotel is very relaxed with very pleasant rooms and a great view. There is a large chess set on the lawn, gardens to wander and also a games room downstairs, away from all the guests.
We ventured out on the ... ...the day but a beautifully coked meal in the evening. Afterwards we strolled back to Stoke Lodge where we went downstairs and played pool whilst enjoygin drinks from the bar.
Over all a very enjoyable weekend which was enhanced by the great accomodation in a lovely village. ... more

We ventured out on the saturday night for a meal at the Green Dragon pub which serves excellent crab sandwiches in the day but a beautifully coked meal in the evening. Afterwards we strolled back to Stoke Lodge where we went downstairs and played pool whilst enjoygin drinks from the bar.
Over all a very enjoyable weekend which was enhanced by the great accomodation in a lovely village.
