I am going to Stoke on Trent for a weekend yet again. I have been four time in the last ten years. Sorry I do not go for any of the reasons a resident might hope for. The problem with Stoke is knowing where it starts and ends. Where is the real shopping centre? Is there one? Where is the night life? Where are the best places to eat? Where should one stay? I could go on because I find Stoke very confusing. I also find it sad to see so many poorer parts that seem neglected by people and Governments.
Why do I go? I am ashamed to say just because I like collecting pottery and if you like to change your dinner service on a regular basis and want the best at a bargain price, where else to go?
