STORYBOOK GLEN
As the name suggests its dedicated to characters from storybooks. Not the sort I read; otherwise they wouldn’t let the children in! But the lovable characters from nursery rhymes, television and classic children’s stories. GETTING THERE
It can be found at Maryculter, about 5 miles from Aberdeen, home of the generous people. Visited Storybook Glen on Saturday the 31st of May. The cost of entry was steep and even though my daughter is only 2 and a half they charge for her, so after paying £14.85 for the 3 of us (I think this is right) we entered the site. The member of staff on the front gate looked bored and could not be bothered to chator offer any help or map, so you wander about and just hope that you get to see everything. The paths are slippy and some of them are ... ...a dragons head hanging from a tree in the troll wood. Please save yourself a wasted trip, for the price Storybook Glen is a rip off we wont ever be visiting again and I suggest you do the same. After leaving I regretted not complaining and demanding my money back. ...
