A superb city that has something for everyone. The most attractive aspect of the city is the tourism. So many different people from different cultures visit Strasbourg every year and add to the already existent culture.

The large number of museums means that no-one goes away with an empty mind. For example, the 'Musée Alsacien' covers the history of life in the region, the characteristics of the region, the crafts and much more.

The city is supported by a mayor who is very ecologically minded and as a result, an electric tram system was setup, running very frequently through the city from a park and ride area.
The city itself is of great beauty, the wonderful medieval cathedral and many interesting monuments. The added charm comes from the quaint cafés and restaurants that line some of the cobbled streets, in between the boutiques.

As you would expect from a large city, the full array of high street shops are present.
Another important reason for visiting Strasbourg is the link with Germany. German culture is evident and a short drive leads to the German border.
Strasbourg is one of the most attractive cities in France and with the European Parliament residing in the city, the city has a strong business aspect too.

With an airport that serves 18 major international airlines, as can be expected froma central point in Europe, access to the city is excellent.

From the limited time I spent in Strasbourg I was enthralled and very much attracted to the city. I even considered going to university in the city such was the appeal. As I have mentioned above, the sheer number of mixed communities withi the city provides something for everyone and Srtrasbourg is certainly a city not to be missed.
