If you don't know by now I've just returned from holiday sailing around on a narrow boat around the Avon Ring for the past 2 weeks. One of our stop off points was the beautiful town of Stratford upon Avon. Visitors to Stratford could be forgiven for thinking that the town should be renamed Shakespeare-upon-Avon. Old Will seems to pop up everywhere. So, how refreshing it is to spend time at this lovely butterfly farm, just a short walk from the town centre. I have visited twice and found it utterly fascinating. The Butterfly Farm in Stratford upon Avon is a most spectacular place to visit. You enter the mains doors into the gift shop and pay at the counter before you enter the main butterfly farm. Prices are as follows Adults £5.25 Seniors and Students £4.75 Children (under 3's free) £4.25 Family (2 adults & 2 children) £15.75.
