Advantages: good atmosphere Disadvantages: too busy, dancefloor too small
I spent a night at strawberry moons for a friends birthday a couple of months ago and I must say I was dissapointed with the place. We had been to a few places before and were on the guestlist - upon arrival at the club we had to wait a few minutes because it was very busy but were eventually let through by the door staff. Entry was £10.00 and £2.00 per item in the cloakroom (typical london prices). I had only been inside the club a few minutes when ... ...was ridiculous. I would recommend strawberry moons to people who like cheesy music, but you must be prepared for it to be really busy and had a few drinks before you get in because of the bar siruation. Dress code: smart casual - smart jeans and trainers are ok, but no caps and hoods. Fancy dress is welcome. Prices: Cocktails - £5.65 a glass or £14.95 a pitcher
Wine - approx £15-18.00 a bottle
Shooters - £4.40
Bottled beer - £2.50

Strawberry Moons is located just off regent street (about a 3rd of the way up coming from Piccadilly Circus). Drinks are average price for the west end, they have a large range of cocktails but only a few different Alco pops and very few beers. ...

Advantages: Cheesy Music Disadvantages: Crowded with Tourists
Strawberry Moon - just of a little side street on London's busy Regent Street. WHY?
I accidently ended up in Strawberry Moon after my other half's work do - after they'd served us all the drink they'd let us drink in at the bar of The Langham Hilton we ventured on for somewhere that would serve us more alcohol. We lost a few on the way - but us hardcore party goers made it somehow to the only club we were able to find along the backstreets of London's ... ...Rickshaw back to try and find a nightbus. Christmas in the westend is not somewhere you'll find a cab! Strawberry Moon should be reserved only for such a bizarre night.
FOOD:
Was there some - I missed that bit? If there was a restaurant I'd never eat in it! ...

Advantages: Cheesy music, fun atmosphere, great cocktails Disadvantages: A bit small
...is the place for you. Strawberry Moons is located in Heddon Street which is just off Regent Street so a great location to begin with. Before you go in there are a number of bars on the street next to it to start your night off. Entry is only £5 I believe and the dress code is smart casual which is nice. The venue is not very big. When you come in there is a small dance floor to your left with a bar there and also a bar in front of you. The clockroom ... ...are quite steep and a bit dangerous if you've had a few to drink.
The last time I went there was on my hen do with a big group of girls and they treated us really well. I got free entry as the bride and then they gave us a hen night pack which included a free bottle of bubbly and novelty toys and games such as handcuffs, dares written on cards and a spank wand.
Their specialities are the cocktails, they do a great Woo Woo and Sex on the beach in ...

Advantages: Nice crowd Disadvantages: Abusive and vile security
I attended Strawberry Moons myself last night along with 16 other girls (Hen Night) I was told it was cheesy and was the ideal place for a Hen Party, they were correct!!! Unless you are let's say on the merry side I would avoid this place. This is the only state you would be able to handle not only the dire heat, very small dance floor and not really enough space to swing a cat in. This was coupled with cheesy tracks and the RUDEST security staff ... ...eating here but decided the better of it to be honest as I thought if the food was on par with the club then I would be better with a burger from a street stall trader!! If you hoping I could tell you something of the decor well sorry but the the place was so dark and overcrowded it was impossible to really to do anything but stand in the same spot. Shame as we did meet some nice people in there. ...
