Advantages: Tourists love it. Disadvantages: Tourists love it.
, as a guide, I have to please my clients, of course! If you want to hear and speak English and sing along with your American cousins, go to the 'Seppl' and 'Roter Ochsen' (Red Ox), both on the Main Street, one beside the other, more or less beneath the castle.
If you want to meet real Heidelbergers, students, go to the Untere Strasse (behind the Holy Ghost Church) or walk through the narrow alleys and just look around. The beer will be good, wherever you're going to sit down! In autumn you can find new wine (tastes like cider, can be very strong, so be careful!) and onion cake. Give both a try!
I think that's enough for a day. Maybe you feel like joining the terribly schmaltzy 'Student's Prince' and sing with him (and me, of course!): "Ich hab' mein Herz in Heidelberg verloren" - I lost my heart in Heidelberg. ...
Advantages: Not too expensive with Free Parking Disadvantages: Only a small part open
After seeing Bodmin Jail on 'Most Haunted' on E4, I really wanted to pay a visit, so, while on holiday in Tavistock, we decided to cross the Border into Cornwall and have our adventure. The Jail was very easy to find as it was advertised by Brown signs, and parking was Free and there was plenty of space.

To my surprise, there is a pub based in the building and it is at the bar that you buy your tickets into the cells. Under fives go free and adults pay approx £5.75 each. There are no Guided Tours and you can just take your time to wander around as you please. You do get given a really nice ticket addressed to 'The Keeper ...
Advantages: modern, still simlple to use, has all functions you expect, good oieces of software Disadvantages: takes a while to get used to
a very good software package, as a student i find that this pack has everything tou realy need, word, powerpoint, onenote, and excel. first, the layout, the new layout is very much more confusing than the origonal layout, but when you are used to it it will all make sense and easy to use. it is more modern and has a compatability mode which lets you use documents you have made in 2007 with other versions. also, when I got this software pack, it was my first time hearing of onenote, which is now one of my favorite pieces of software as it allows allot more freedom than word and is easy to use. word is the same as it was before except for the toolbar layout, so it has changed quite a bit. but it is more modern and still simple. powerpoint is the same, modern but simple. and the same for excel. so in all it is a new modern yet simple ...
