Advantages: Tasty sandwiches, great choice of fillings, friendly service and hygienic.
Disadvantages: Quite pricey for a sandwich.

...and hot drinks, crisps and cookies. I haven't been to Subway for a while and part of the reason is because of where it's situated if it was more local to me then I would probably go more often. However it is quite pricey with an average meal for 2 costing £10 and for sandwiches I think that is quite expensive. They also do special offers, but these usually encourage you to spend more in the long run. They also used to do a ticket scheme which enabled you to save up for a free subway they stopped this when they found too many people were selling the tickets on eBay. I never did get to spend all my saved tickets. ...We arrived at Hotel Notra-dame, our booking was missing & no available twin room. They booked us in Hotel de Nevers next door. We had to change rooms 3 times. 1 room was horribly shabby and had no on suite facility. The shared toilets are located on the stairwell; a safety hazard . The shower was located on the floor above also very tiny size with no room to manouvre. It had no ventilation but there was a good supply of hot water and soap. There was no use of a fridge, or oven to up warm food. No TV in room or tea/cofee making facilities which would have added some comfort. Towels were not changed daily as expected, not sure about linen as we changed rooms so much. The pillows were the boster type not flat, very uncomfortable. The rooms are not sound insulated and noisy both from traffic and other residents... Read review

Advantages: Short cheap flight, sun, food, scenery, nice people, city AND beach
Disadvantages: Pricey, have to risk life and limb sliding down a minor scree slope into the sea!

...My friend Annette and I both have special birthdays this year and decided we had to do something special to celebrate. Originally we thought of a weekend in Bath but as we didn't want to drive, the train was extortionate and the bus took for ever we looked a bit further afield. Now we have Jet2 from Leeds/Bradford airport, it was simple to look at their website to see where we could go reasonably cheaply. It was down to Prague or Nice; Nice won (could it be the promise of sun and seaside?!) Plus it only cost us about £20 each more than Bath believe it or not! TRAVEL The flight was easy to book and went without a hitch although it meant an early start for the 7am plane.
