As you may know Subway is a fastfood chain that sell bagettes (on a variety of breads, personal favourite Parmesan Oregano)with a variety of fillings, hot or cold. Some people have said in the past that the food you get from Subway is basically just expensive sandwiches, however, these freaks are few and far between. Most people appreciate the beauty that is a Subway sandwich.
The food while not the cheapest, about £2.50 for a subway melt with honeymustard sauce and jalapenos and onions (highly recommended) it is not bad in comparison to a meal at MacDonalds. In addition it is both healthier and tastier. To cancel out the healthy nature of the sandwich I recommend getting a few cookies (3 for 99p) which are absolutely superb.
At present I am at university in Liverpool and a new one has opened here(on Bold Street opposite Bar VR and Oxfam), the big advantage of this branch (I'm not sure how many this applies to) is that it is open very late on Saturdays (at least 3am) and is in a very convenient location being near bars, cabs and kebab shops. When compared to a kebab Subway sandwiches are much healthier, both fat-wise and food-poisoning-wise, and are usually cheaper than/the same price as a kebab, and when combined with the chilli sauce are more than enough to awaken those alcohol-sedated taste buds.
