The SUBWAY restaurant chain is the undisputed leader in the submarine sandwich category serving fresh, great tasting, made-for-you sandwiches and salads, many of which have 6 grams of fat or less. Offering a healthful alternative to traditionally fatty fast food has made the SUBWAY chain a popular destination for health-conscious consumers.
Advantages: "Reeperbahn"!!, "Mönckebergstrasse", "Volksparkstadion", "Hamburg Harbour", "Michel" etc. Disadvantages: Nothing!!!
....Pauli by travelling with the subway or by car.
My personal most likely sight is the "Volksparkstadion Hamburg" the football stadium of the most liked football club of Hamburg! Every real football-fan has to see this fabulous stadium, which takes 55000 spectators.
The best shopping site is the "Mönckebergstrasse"(subway-station: Jungfernstieg). Over 2kilometres pedestrian precinct with over two hundred shops at all. Everything you want to buy you are able to buy! Every thing!!! ;-)
The last sight I want to write about is the harbour of Hamburg. It is a very huge harbour, where you can visit some very old ships or buy every kind of fish on the "Fischmarkt" the greatest market for fish (and other things) in the world.
This are only some of the very many sights of Hamburg City and I hope you will like Hamburg like I do! And I also hope my opinion will help...

Advantages: One of the top attractions in Hamburg - endless astonishment Disadvantages: sometimes more than one hour waiting time
...to address a burning house or castle. Quickly after finishing the first Phase, the "Miwula" got quickly known and attracted many visitors.
In November 2002, Phase 2 was opened showing Hamburg and the North German Coast line. You see the separate subway systems, street demonstrations, a Techno Move and many other fabulous details. One of the most important models is the making of the Hamburg Football stadium. Even the large screens in scale 1:87 work and can be illuminated in whatever direction.
Ín December 2003 Phase 3 was finished: America. Here you can find Las Vegas with all its lights, models of the famous Big Boy - the largest ever built steam engine, you see temperature announcements on the highway in °F (instead of °C), and on Area 51 some marsians have just landed. This all is shown in scale 1:87.
In July 2005 Phase 4 was completed...

...(I'm german so I apologize for my bad english)
I live in Hamburg and study meteorology since three years.
In my opinion I live in the most interesting and exciting city in Germany.
With 1.7 Million inhabitants it is the secound biggest city in Germany.
It is in the north part of Germany and it is famous for the port. It is one of the biggest ports in Europe.
A lot of people say that it is the port witch gives Hamburg the special atmosphere. I can only agree. If your are in the nightlife on a Saturdaynight and you walk to the port ( it is in the centre of Hamburg) it is very relaxing to drink your beer, watch the big ships and heer the noise of a port. I like it.
But in Hamburg there is much more. Also famous is the Reeperbahn. It is famous for all the erotic shops but here are also the main attractions of the Hamburger nightlife...
